Yes! There are multiple options to use Telecom Metric's VoIP services at home. Some of these include:
Telecom Metric's secure VoIP solution lets you answer all lines or choose just a few of your business' most critical lines like your main number, your call centre, or support lines anywhere you go. With a securely hosted VoIP solution by Telecom Metric, you can make use of simple call forwarding rules, find-me-follow-me options, mobile and desktop softphones, and remote call-centre management.
You can even keep your existing solution and add on a mobile VoIP office, enabling workers that to work from home or on the road on occasion or regularly.
It is definitely possible to plug in a IP phone at home. You will need a free port on your modem or router or use a Wi-Fi enabled phone. You may also require power supplies as many office phones receive their power via Power over Ethernet (PoE).
Another option that may be more convenient would be to use a desktop or mobile softphone. You will still have all of the functionality of a desk phone without the physical hardware.
